Don’t Mess With Texas!

“The Hideout” is spreading its wings and starting to fly in the festival circuit!  Next stop: 23rd Annual San Antonio Film Festival, and we’re super stoked. The best part about putting your heart and soul into a project is watching it make moves and hear people respond to it.

As a little girl, I always had this wild imagination, but often felt a void with content because for one reason or another, I couldn’t relate to it 100%. This film was a response to that. In more ways than one “The Hideout” is my 10-minute baby. Full of color and passion. Unafraid to be diverse and real. Quirky and full of flavor.

I am grateful for the people in my life who keep me on my grind and push me to be better. Teach me things I don’t know and who were the backbone of this project as I struggled to come to terms with my real calling in life. I want nothing more than to be a creative.

Rippin… Saw your short in San Antonio (I’m a Dallas filmmaker who was programmed in the same block) and really, really enjoyed it. Best in our section, no doubt.
